Five Easy Steps to Keeping Skin Care Simple
Every woman wants to have beautiful skin. Most of them are busy working 40 hours a week and taking care of a family. Most women do not have the money to buy expensive skin care beauty products when gas is needed for the family car and groceries need bought.
What is the solution to keeping your skin looking great, staying on a budget, and spending a small amount of time? It is possible to keep skin care simple and easy.
1. One easy way to take care of your skin is to stay out of the sun. If you are planning outdoor activities, use a good sunscreen and stay out of the sun between the hours of ten and two. The suns rays are harmful to your skin, can cause skin cancer, and promotes wrinkles. Another way to keep life simple is to use a moisturizer and base foundation make up with a sunscreen. When you apply it in the morning you will then be protected without thinking about it.
2. Don't smoke! Smoker's skin always looks gray and dull. Smoking prevents circulation of oxy-generated blood from being delivered to the surface of the skin. Instead of nutritious oxygen your skin is getting poisons and oxidants. If you smoke, quit; if you do not smoke, don't start! It will age you prematurely, dull your skin, and produce wrinkles.
3. Take care of your body. Your body knows how much rest it needs, and your skin needs the best nutrition it can get. Stay away from fatty foods; eat plenty of fresh vegetables and fruits. Reduce your fat intake. Exercise! The importance of exercise cannot be stressed enough. Not only will it help your skin, but has many other health benefits. Exercise can help reduce stress. Stress will also contribute to unhealthy skin; both physical and emotional stress takes a toll.
4. Wash your face twice a day and put on the moisturizer that is best for your skin type. Your skin collects dead skin cells, dirt, and dust overnight. It needs to be cleansed of all that stuff in the morning. After a long day of wearing make-up, being exposed to the elements, and touching your face with your hands, your face will need cleaned!
5. Keep your make up clean. Regularly replace sponges in your make up and compacts. Make up has a shelf life of about twelve months. Now and then you need to toss everything out and start fresh. If you don't use your make up fast, then don't spend a fortune on it, that way you won't feel bad if you need to toss it!
These five simple tips, most of them free or have little cost can help you have younger looking skin with fewer skin care problems. Use moderation with your make up. You don't need all of those expensive layers of products on your skin. If you do decide to change part of your make up, do it gradually to allow your skin to become used to the new product.
